Don’t want your AP Spanish students to go screaming out of the class and drop the course? These vocabulary lists with synonyms, translations, and words in context give them the confidence they need. There are 16 pages of vocabulary taken from the written and audio sources of Vista Higher Learning AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam Preparation booklet, THIRD EDITION, five sub-themes of LA BELLEZA Y LA ESTÉTICA: definiciones de la belleza; el lenguaje y la literature; la arquitectura; las artes visuals y escénicas; la moda y el diseño
Students were dropping out and complaining the class was too difficult, that they didn’t understand the written and audio texts. So, I created these lists and activities. Before reading or listening to the texts, students became familiar with the vocabulary and were able to comprehend the reading and audio portions of the practice exams. Their confidence increased and they passed the AP Spanish exam — all but one during the five years I taught AP Spanish.
“Definiciones de la creatividad” is not included because there was no difficult vocabulary in that chapter.
