This Irregular French Verbs Dialogue will hook your students into the story as they hear French irregular verbs repeated in context. The resource includes vocabulary, dialogue, comprehension questions, answers, and student handouts with French regular and irregular verb conjugations. This resource can be used as a TPRS story, a puppet show dialogue, or a student presentation. I used puppets to tell the story. Appropriate for high school French One or Two.

Jean doesn’t believe he knows Rafael Nadal or played tennis with him and Marc tries to convince him and compares Roger Federer to Rafael Nadal. Then, Jean invites Marc to dinner.

WAYS TO USE THIS RESOURCE:
Have students act out the vocabulary with you before telling the story.
Use puppets to voice the dialogue.
Use student volunteers to play the parts of Marc and Jean, repeating the lines after you.
Ask the questions orally and have students raise their hands to answer.
Divide the class into two teams, give each student a number. Ask the question and call on a number. The first person to write the correct answer wins the point.
