The AP Spanish curriculum meets all the Learning Objectives set forth by the College Board and is based upon the three modes of communication: “Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational” and the six themes: “La belleza y la estética, La vida contemporánea, Las familias y las comunidades, Los desafíos mundiales, Las identidades personales y públicas y La ciencia y la tecnología”. All lesson plans are based on the EDI (Explicit Direct Instruction) model. The sources are taken from the books, “Vista Higher Learning and Temas.” Click on the following link if you would like the lesson plans based on “Triángulo Aprobado.”
The goal of the AP curriculum is to enable students to communicate with maximum proficiency in the language, i.e., to comprehend authentic spoken and written Spanish, to speak and write Spanish using advanced language and idiomatic expressions, and to pass the AP Spanish Test with high marks.

I taught Spanish for 31 years.
During the five years I taught AP Spanish, all of my students passed except one and that during my first year of teaching AP. Most of my students are non-natives and non-heritage speakers.
My principal nominated me for Teacher of the Year.
I am one of the top sellers in the High School Category.
For my staff, I facilitated and presented a workshop on EDI (Explicit Direct Instruction) Lesson Planning. I also created and presented a workshop on TPRS storytelling, Strategies for Visual Learners, and other instructional strategies.
I worked as a Consulting Teacher for two years mentoring participating teachers on quality lesson planning, instructional strategies, engaging activities, TPR Storytelling, equity, and classroom management.
I wrote and facilitated numerous workshops for beginning and veteran teachers, in and outside of my district, on lesson planning, classroom management, instructional strategies, TPR Storytelling, How to Teach Grammar in the Target Language, Equity, Strategies for Visual Learners and more.
HERE’S WHAT SOME OF MY BUYERS HAVE SAID ABOUT THIS CURRICULUM:
This is an amazing resource! I have purchased a Spanish curriculum from another TPT seller and her product pales in comparison to Angie Torre’s product. My students leave the classroom excited and happy, and not only that but this curriculum is more rich and in-depth than anything I have seen. My students are learning and comprehending SOOOO much more! Thank you Angie!
I love how thoroughly it covers the topics and all of the resources are wonderful!
As always, AMAZING, FANTASTIC, AWESOME!! Thank you very much. I appreciate your help, time and dedication!!!
This has saved my life! Thank you for taking the time to create and offer this as a huge resource!
Este recurso incluye muchísimo contenido. Muchas gracias, Angie, por ayudar con el peso de dar una clase nueva como esta que lo fue para mí este año. Usted provee un excelente servicio al cliente también. 🙂
I recently purchased this and LOVE what I have used so far. The lesson plans are easy to follow and everything you need for it is easily organized in a folder for that day. The lessons are challenging and fun. My students have loved the interactive PowerPoints as well. The best part is I finally have hope that as a newer teacher I won’t always have to spend all my evenings prepping forever. I see much potential for time savings and increased learning ahead. Thank you Angie!
Absolutely amazing, brilliant work. I have already used this several times in my room with my Exprésate 3 book. I have used some notes for my Spanish 4 classroom as well as review. Thank you so much!
This is the first time I’m teaching Spanish 4, and our district doesn’t have a curriculum! I I was floundering. My 4’s aren’t quite good enough to work with the AP curriculum yet, so I needed something that was level appropriate while still being “pre-AP”. I wish I had purchased this a month ago! The amount and quality of resources available with this package was worth every single penny.
*Spanish Four is a combination of daily lesson plans and curriculum. The lesson plans are topical. Most concepts have lesson plans. Those that do not have all the resources and curriculum needed to write one’s own lesson plans.
Such a lifesaver! Love the lessons! Creative and excellent resources. Thanks so much. You made my year much easier.
Thank you! Thank you! thank you. I am teaching AP Spanish next year and I wasn’t sure how to organize it or start it. I have looked through your lesson plans. They are amazing. You are amazing!
