Spanish Recetas: Food, Cooking and Culture Project

This project solves the problem of, “What do I do now that my students have taken the AP Spanish test? It is also a great cultural activity that can be used for Spanish Three and above. Students look for authentic recipes from Spanish-speaking countries on the internet, prepare them for the class and explain to the class how they made the recipe. In order to do that, students must have sufficient culinary vocabulary. This activity provides them with the necessary vocabulary, instructions and a rubric.
