• Four locks / cerraduras that students must open

• Clues # 1 & 2: Students read a paragraph extracting the red letters to form a sentence which leads them to the second clue and first activity.

• Activity # 1: Students answer comprehension questions about the paragraph.

• Clue # 3: Students put a puzzle together and read the clue in the puzzle.

• Activity #2: Song by Álvaro Soler. Students watch the video, listen to the song and fill out the cloze activity.

• Clue # 4: Students are instructed to read the text message and click on the icon referred to in the text message.

• Activity #3: Students watch a video and answer True / False questions.

• Clue # 5: Students click on an item in a painting.

• Activity #4: Students complete the sentences choosing the correct stem-changing verb in Spanish.

• Photographs that students must click on of a two paintings, Álvaro Soler, a Starbucks Coffee House, and two text messages

• Notes Handout on which students write the clues for each lock including the song cloze activity and the video vocabulary and questions
